Tyson Hermes

Tyson Hermes, Vice President of Hermes Construction Co., started his construction career at R.A. Hermes, Inc., where he gained practical experience under the guidance of his father’s firm at the age of 14. He continued to cultivate his passion for the craft throughout his academic years, partnering with prominent entities such as PRO2E, the City of Covington Engineer’s office, and Pilot Contracting. These affiliations honed his skills in design conceptualization and project management, among others.

Tyson graduated from the University of Cincinnati in 1996, showcasing his academic prowess with degrees in Architectural Engineering, Construction Management, and Civil Engineering. He then took on significant roles at Pilot Contracting and Duke Realty, where he led projects and shaped pre-construction strategies. In 2003, Tyson joined Hermes Construction Company, where he has brought his expertise to the forefront.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Tyson and is wife Julie have 3 kids and live in Erlanger, KY. He is also actively involved in public service, having served as Erlanger’s Mayor and now as a Councilman. His influence extends to the many volunteer boards and committee on which he serves.
